We all write email. We all know and believe in the effectiveness of email as a communications tool. It is truly the ultimate killer app running on the net. So, let's make the nest email you write look like the professional you are.
What not to do

Gee, aren't they cute? Try to figure out what's being said a week later when the context has been forgotten, or who the email is from and they are not so cute. Many email addresses can be very difficult to figure out who the author was.
When you send a complete email for every reply, you create your own tracking system. You can see right-quick the message you received and your complete reply. This has saved us more than once, believe me. Below you will see that we write out the full date, time, and place when we meet with anyone.
What to do
Write your email with a header, date, who it's sent to, the body, and a signature. For icing on the cake set up a signature in your email software with your header and footer and all your emails will look like this:
