Go to the company Web site, and find any email address. Skip to 'Got email address,' below. What? They only list a form page and there are no email addresses to be found. Don't you hate that? No problem.
- Copy the company's Web address to your clipboard.
- Paste it into Google's search bar.
- Delete http://www and add the @ character. In our case you change http://www.WebContentRx.biz to @WebContentRx.biz.
- Execute the search.
- Scroll through the search results, and soon you will find a complete email address.
Let's say that you're looking for John Simth's email address. John is a fictional person working at the fictional XYZ Company.
Got email address
What you're looking for is the format of the email address at John's company. Some companies use the full first name, some use initials, some use the initial of the first name and the first few letters of the last name. This is why you search for any email address. By seeing how the email addresses are constructed at John's company, you will infer his address.
An example
Getting back to our fictional example, let's say that you find these email addresses.
- TomQ@xyz.com
- EdwardF@xyz.com.
From this you infer that John Smith's address will be JohnS@xyz.com.
Now Google: JohnS@xyz.com.
Look through the list, or search the returns for JohnS by pressing Ctrl-F and entering JohnS as the search string.
Success may require some trial and error, but in the end you will have the email address you need.
