Have you been avoiding using video in your social networking campaign? Not a video guru? Did people tell you you need two cameras, professional lighting, a studio, and professional sound? Forget it. You need nothing of the sort. A cheap camera, a free YouTube channel, and some time will get you online very nicely.
Think content, not video quality.
Why? Well because those things are fine for the professionals. You're not professional videographer, so why would you want all that stuff. It would cost you 1thousands of dollars.
What to do?
- Buy yourself a video camera, any video camera and start making videos.
- To make videos without a camera - What ! Without a camera? - Oh yeah, download Jing or a similar tool and you can do screen capture videos. Use a cheap microphone and you're off and running. Or, should we say videoing?
- As you will be needing a microphone, here is the one we use. We like it because it is wearable.

Should you need to buy one, be sure that it is designed for a computer.
So, there you are. no longer any reason to avoid video. Make a channel at YouTube and start uploading content. Note we said, content. If the video's aren't that great, so what? It's the content that counts.
