You will want to track the effectiveness of your social networking campaign, there are many tools to choose from to do this. Many are free, others are pay for results. This tool will provide you with information on where your Web traffic is coming from.

To get Google Analytics working on your Web site your Web master will need to install some code from Google. Then, give Google a day or two to collect data, and you will see where your Web site's traffic is coming from. Pay particular attention the the social media sites you are using. You want to see traffic from those sites.
Now, you can see how much traffic is coming from your blog, your Facebook page, YouTube or any other sites you are using. When things are not working our the way you want, change the content on the site(s) in question. Track your changes, so that you can determine if the changes are working or not. If not, make additional changes and track how they do. Remember, social networking is not a static activity. See your social networking campaign as migrating its way toward success.
