Well done, your social networking campaign is online. Very well done. Not it's time to tell your audience. The reason for placing content online before you tell the world is so that none of your sites could be found not containing nothing. Now that is not a possibility.
So, you've got to do is tell everybody. To do that you can use any or all of these tools.
- An E-mail blast.
- A newsletter.
- Facebook, by notifying your friends and fans and by using Facebook advertising..
- If you have an over-the-counter business, place signs in the store, include an insert in bags, put online information on all company paperwork including business cards, invoices, and billing statements.
- Include your social networking information in your television and radio advertising.
- Your public speaking.
- Articles published in print and online magazines.
- Posting on blogs popular in your industry or field.
- Your Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, or other networking events.
- Tell your employees to mention it to your customers.
Be creative here, use that excellent imagination of yours. In the online world there is nothing more powerful than thinking. When you get an idea or suggestion, don't discount it, test it and determine if it has merit. Here are a couple ideas to get you started.
- Run an in-house contest to engage your employees in ways to get the word out and to assist you in getting the word out. They spend time online and are a rich source of ideas and creativity. Take advantage of their expertise and consider a cash or other incentive.
- Run a contest it is the perfect excuse to contact your audience
- Publish an article, give a talk. Use Cause Marketing by promoting a cause that you believe in.
- Have a party. This may be the all-time social networking event. Use it.
Congratulations on all the work you did to make this happen. You've done well. Very well. Now get going on next weeks content, as we've said before action is required. And that, my friend, will never change.
